# How do I condition actions using a new manually added column? (Feeditor)
## This article will teach you how to apply actions using a manually added column in your feed
When trying to apply actions conditioned on a manually added column it is important to make sure that the manually added column is located left to the column on which the actions are applied.
As a rule, new columns are added to the right of the feed. In order to change a column's location you need to click on **Columns** in the top toolbar \>
Drag and drop to reorder the columns and click **save** for the changes to apply
**Note**: If you try to apply an action conditioned on another column and it does not work - try changing the columns placement in the feed.
